I am using a Radeon Mobility 9000 M9 video card in an IBM Thinkpad T40,
running Gentoo Linux on a 2.6.0-test9 kernel. When I use the stock
(unaccelerated) drivers in the kernel, I have no problems except for the
lack of #D acceleration. When I switch to ATI's FireGL drivers, vmd will
start but crashes upon attempting to load any structure file. Has anyone
else had a problem with this? How can I work around this, other than
switching to the slower drivers?
Thanks,
Lucas Watkins
