Hi All,

I am new to VMD, I am trying to use multiseq for a bunch of pdb files
(~20). After I give the pdb id's in the import data window, the vmd
console gives me the following error:

ERROR) syntax error
MultiSeq ERROR)
atomselect: cannot parse selection text:chain y
   while executing
"atomselect $molID "chain $chain""
(procedure "::SeqData::VMD::updateVMDSequences" line 40)
  invoked from within
"SeqData::VMD::updateVMDSequences"

For those pdb id's this error occurs, they do not show up in the
multiseq window. can anyone give me an idea how to resolve this.
