Hi All:

I have installed vmd-1.8.2.bin.SOLARIS2.opengl.tar.gz successfully in Sun Sparc Solaris 8.0 system, and encountered the following error.

Can anyone suggest?

thanks,

Justin

Justin,
Looks like your machine has out-of-date libraries. The easiest solution
to this is to upgrade to Solaris 9, but I believe you can also solve this
by upgrading your libm via patches from sunsolve.sun.com. If that doesn't
sound appetizing, then you can also build from source which isn't too bad.
Let me know what you want to try to do there.
