Dear Jinasena,
If you just want to view the sequence, there is a simple viewer under VMD->Extensions called "Sequence Viewer". Alternatively, you can also use VMD->Extensions->Analysis->Multiseq to view the Sequence.
Cheers,
Jonathan

Subject: vmd-l: Primary structure,
I have a secondary structure (apha-helix) obtained from a protein data base. I want to convert it to a primary (liner structure).
Is there way of doing it in VMD or by using a tcl script.
