Hello:
Is VMD made to be used on remote sessions? All I get from a session on a
SGI (with xhost +) from a Linux server is two short-living windows, one
with the error messages:
Multithreading available, 2 CPUs detected
Connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Client is not authorized to connect to server
OpenGL renderer: CRIME
By looking at other similar postings, I still don't have it clear what is
missing. The solution "vmd -dispdev text" does work, but (I haven't read
much of the manual yet) what is that for?
The binary I downloaded is the one for Linux with OpenGL.
Thank you very much for your help.
