Dear Everyone:
I want to measure the dielectric constant of pure DMSO according to the suggestion of paper: J. Phys. Chem. A 2002, 106, 1074.
Firstly, the dipole moment of DMSO box was measured. By applying the formula as follow, the dielectric constant will be get.
The epsilon is constant which has no unit. The second term of right side should also be an constant.
The unit of dipole moment is C*m. The unit of the second term of right side is (C*m)*(C*m)/(kg*m^5*s^-2). This is not an constant.
How can i fix this?
Any help is appreciated!
